FIELD: degaussing of floating objects. SUBSTANCE: degaussing stand with ring-shaped working coil is mounted on rigid support when shore-based or between floating working modules when afloat-based. Device intended for measuring characteristics of magnetic field of object presents initial and present data for processing. Control console provides for control of current in working coil by signals of measuring unit. Object is forced through working coil by means of winch and cables. Monitoring units with bench marks and theodolite reveal deflection of longitudinal axis of object from central heading axis running between distant support; when afloat-based, these reveal deflection of longitudinal axes from working modules from left-hand right-hand heading axes. Units following-up deflections from longitudinal axes of object and working modules are made in form of thrusters equipment with floating blocks in fore and aft parts of object. Control console is connected with monitoring units and thruster by means of radio channels. EFFECT: extended field of application,; improved quality of degaussing. 3 cl, 3 dwg
