FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves producing mammogram and then the mammary gland is placed between two plates for detecting tumors of minimum sizes. The upper plate has perforated holes and the produced mammogram is displayed over it. Mammary gland compression is applied to bring it in coincidence with the mammogram contours. After marking the hole corresponding to suspected area of the mammary gland, the mammogram is taken away. The area is labeled by means of a needle and by supplying marker substance material to the depth equal to distance between marks on skin corresponding to pathologic formation in direct and oblique projection. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy in localizing non-palpable tumors. 1 dwg
