FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has body strips with distance frames having coupling bolts and rod holders and removable compression-distraction mechanism. The compression-distraction mechanism is designed as lead screw direction along longitudinal axis of the apparatus and having displacement relative to the central axis. It has different-direction thread at the ends with hexahedral neck and two threaded coupling members. Each coupling member has two parts one of which is on a coupling bolt and, being like distance frame, the other one is attached to it by means of coupling bolt and is mounted on the apparatus rod by means of holder. The plane of threaded coupling arrangement is in parallel to the body strips. The compression-distraction mechanism rod holders are like apparatus rod holder. The longitudinal threaded coupling axis is set in perpendicular to the longitudinal axes of the apparatus distance frames to enable one to make distraction, reposition and compression of fractured bone fragments.
