FIELD: biotechnology, virology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hybridoma technology. Hybridoma is obtained by fusion of murine myeloma line NSO with murine splenocytes strain BALB/c immunized with inactivated Marburg virus. Hybridoma-produced monoclonal antibodies raised to Marburg virus (strain Popp) surface glycoprotein can be used as a component of IFA- system used for detection of Marburg virus. The resolution capacity of system based on monoclonal antibody is 1.0 x 103 PFU x cm-3. The use of hybridoma producing monoclonal antibody raised to Marburg virus ensures to carry out the detection and identification of this virus.
