FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: gear is designed to measure and register current emerging under short-circuits and other emergency conditions in electric power lines. Gear includes first and second measurement units each incorporating input transformer unit, rectifier, amplitude detector, resistor and memory capacitor, amplification unit, former of RESET signal. Outputs of first and second measurement units are interconnected and connected to output unit whose output is linked to remote measurement unit. Inputs of first and second measurement units are inputs of gear and are connected to measurement windings of current transformers linked to proper phases of three-phase network. EFFECT: uninterrupted measurement of current and registration of maximum value of current in two phases of three- phase network simultaneously. 3 dwg
