FIELD: medicine, orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: method deals with treating foot deformation: articular capsule is opened with arch-shaped incision above exostosis of the first metatarsal bone head, triangular fragment is cut out with its foundation being towards the great toe. Exostosis of metatarsal bone distal head is removed. Channels of 2-3 mm are formed in the main phalanx of the great toe and the first metatarsal bone cross- sectionally. Dacron ligature N 6 is applied through these channels. The great toe is fixed in position of varus hypercorrection, ligature is tightened. Triangular fragment of articular capsule is also tied up with dacron sutures to strengthen capsule-ligamentous apparatus at rear-internal surface. No gypsum immobilization is required. EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy. 11 dwg
