FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: lower and upper chambers are filled in succession with definite solution, after which they are sealed-up. Solution is heated in chamber to saturation temperature, vapor-and-gas mixture being discharge to upper chamber. Part of solution is drained from this chamber into flask and its volume is measured, after which chamber is sealed-up and cock is closed. Solution is boiled in lower chamber at discharge of vapor-and-gas mixture to upper chamber, thus maintaining pressure in it not below atmospheric through cooling the mixture by means of cooler and discharge of condensate to lower chamber via pipe. Then, boiling is discontinued, chamber is sealed-up and cocks are closed. This done, temperature and pressure in chamber are measured and gas content of solution is found from known dependence. EFFECT: simplified construction; enhanced accuracy; extended range of application due to avoidance of chemical reagents. 3 cl, 1 dwg
