FIELD: nuclear engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed method may be used, for instance, at one of stages of isotopes separation from their natural mixture. Mixture of charged particles is pre-formed by ionizing, then it is extruded by means of electric field. After that charged particles are separated under action of centrifugal force applied to them as they are moving over arched path and by means of electric field, that is, by means of electric force barriers with height of each barrier reducing in cross-sectional area according to increase in radii of orbits of high-energy charged particles during their transition from shorter to longer orbits, during replacing barriers by other ones, or in case of changes in barrier shape or in position of electric barriers depending on energy of charged particles. EFFECT: enhanced selectivity of charged particles separation; reduced material input for devices using this method by reducing length of charged particles separation zone. 3 dwg
