FIELD: processing wastes containing mercury-organic compounds; detoxication of pesticides, type granosan, which are not fit for use. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in treatment of pesticides in alkaline medium by reducing mercury from mercury-organic compounds and mixing of treated mixture with filler: cement or clay followed by heat treatment. Mercury is separated from mass thus obtained through condensation. EFFECT: possibility of obtaining mercury and mercury-free pumice- or stone-like commercial product fit for further use. 6 cl, 6 ex
