FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices aimed at improving filling of multicylinder internal combustion engines. Proposed engine has gas-collecting receiver and union installed along receiver space. Outlet of union is connected to air cleaning and fuel feed system, and inlet edge is stopped by opposite end face wall of receiver. Union is made perforated on part of its length. Cross partitions dividing receiver space into different volume chambers are mounted inside receiver. Number of chambers is equal to number of connecting holes for inlet branch pipes. Perforations of union are grouped into rows of belts, each being arranged in middle part of corresponding chamber. Chambers of receiver are formed to suit engine cylinder firing order so that natural resonance frequencies of each following chamber in which subsequent intake stroke takes place differ to the utmost from natural resonance frequencies of preceding chamber in which intake stroke occurred before this moment, each adjacent pairs of chambers being arranged at maximum distance from one another. EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation of intake system owing to better filling of cylinders, reduced noise in operation. 6 cl, 3 dwg
