FIELD: acceleration engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has easy-to-adjust solenoids and vertically positioned linear accelerating structures; the latter are joined together by means of magnetic turning assemblies in the form of folded meander. Particle beam is passed through linear accelerating structures and then conveyed to separation system. Linear accelerating structures are disposed on three-dimensional spatial surface so that direction vectors of beam motion in adjacent structures form angle of 180 deg. Final energy can be varied within wide range depending on problems to be solved. EFFECT: enhanced accelerator power; reduced space requirement, facilitated manufacture. 5 cl, 3 dwg
