FIELD: production of ingots of non-ferrous metals and alloys. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of casting melt to ingot mold with hot top; before casting melt heating lateral walls of ingot mold up to 300-350 C and sustaining temperature of its walls no less than 300-350 C at crystallization of melt; cooling bottom portion of ingot mold through heavy copper plate.
