FIELD: ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy; heavy duty cranes (8K,7K). SUBSTANCE: connection unit of crane runway beams and columns has crane runway beams with inclined support ribs resting on stepped columns. Upper belts of adjacent crane runway beams are interconnected by five-link shackles symmetrically relative to rail. These shackles consist of central link and two pairs of outer links forming eyes fitted on central link. Eyes enclose upper belt of left-hand and right-hand beams from top and bottom and are connected with belt of crane runway beam by bolt driven into eyes and holes in upper belt. Crane runway beams rest on spatial wedge-lock, pointed upwards with its taper and engaging through side inclined faces with support ribs. Spatial wedge-lock rests through its lower base tilted across track against straightening wedge connected along horizontal by adjusting studs with part of column, and along vertical it is connected by anchor bolts with column plate. Guide stops secured on support ribs of beam lock beam relative to spatial wedge-lock. Upper belt of crane runway beam is held from bottom by ring shock absorbers. EFFECT: increased service life of connection unit, reduced metal usage in crane runway beams, and labour input at mounting and straightening. 2 dwg
