FIELD: manufacture of direct-flow reactors with wall layer of catalyst activated by explosion. SUBSTANCE: method consists in coaxial arrangement of cylindrical explosive charge inside metal tube, filling the space between explosive charge and inner surface of tube with catalyst and initiating the explosive charge. According to version 1, inner surface of tube is first roughened. Height and pitch of irregularities are dictated by thickness of layer of catalyst to be applied. Coaxial air gap between explosive charge and layer of catalyst is equal to: where D is inner diameter of tube; dexpl is diameter of explosive charge; ρexpl, ρcat, β are densities of explosive charge and catalyst and δ = a is coefficient depending on properties of explosive and catalyst. Ends of tube are provided with metal covers whose height is equal to diameter of tube and thickness is equal to dexpl, where "a" is coefficient depending on properties of explosive, materials of cover ands tube. Before initiating the charge, the entire assembly is placed in anti-unloading outfit protecting the tube against break. According to version 2, reinforcing screen is fitted additionally between explosive charge and inner surface of tube, coaxially relative to them. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 cl, 4 dwg, 3 ex
