FIELD: tyre industry, in particular, moulds for vulcanization of tyres. SUBSTANCE: vent valve for installation in the vent hole of the vulcanization mould has an insert with a rod and a plate. The valve insert is made for pressing to the closed position due to the pressure on the side of the plate facing the cavity of the vulcanization mould installed in which is this valve, and for movement to the open position due to the spring in the absence of pressure on the plate on the side of the cavity. Mobility of the insert is restricted by the restraining arm positioned on the valve end opposite the cavity, which restricts the path of insert motion to the open position by less than 2 mm. The restraining arm for dismounting of the insert represents a snap lock installed in a spaced relation between the valve rod and the valve body on the one side, at a bodiless construction of the valve insert it is installed directly in the respective segment of the vulcanization mould on the other side. EFFECT: produced tyre blanks extracted from the vulcanization mould practically free of spurs and fins. 15 cl, 7 dwg
