MULTISTOREY GARAGE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: multistorey garage has rows of similar in size boxes, each box designed for one car, and device for lifting and lowering. Garage is made with partitions between boxes located on even storeys with displacement in the same direction relative to vertical axes of partitions between boxes located on odd storeys in horizontal direction, square to partition horizontal axes, through the same distance equalling one-half the distance between partitions. Garage is provided in upper part of partition with inspection pits in the form of baths whose vertical axes coincide with vertical axes of partitions between boxes of underlying storeys. Pit casing is made with vertical cross-section in the form of open isosceles trapezium with a large open base directed upward with an angle between sides exceeding critical angle to provide for easier dismantling of transverse parts connected with a casing. Longitudinal axes of middle floor plates of all storeys of garage having rectangular windows directed along longitudinal axes for location of pit casings are located along longitudinal axes of corresponding boxes and coincide with longitudinal axes of partitions of underlying storeys. Girders of bearing framework of garage located under middle plates with inspection windows are welded from steel sections with rectangular horizontal frames for mounting of pit casings and rest on steel columns with the help of standard welded sections.
