FIELD: equipment testing quality and measuring characteristics of textile material in process of creasing. SUBSTANCE: specimen in the form of circle with radius of 30.0 mm is used in procedure. Specimen is creased under load simultaneously at angles from 15 to 360 degrees after every 15 degrees towards longitudinal direction by simulation of creasing of material in clothes and with characteristic of its anisotropy. Calculation of creasing property along specified directions is carried out according to formulas: where kA is creasing factor in specified direction, %; rkaav is average value of radius of specimen in specified direction after unloading and rest, mm; ro is initial value of radius of specimen before test, mm; where rsp.d is radius of specimen in specified direction after unloading and rest, mm; N is number of radii in specified direction. EFFECT: approximation of testing conditions to real conditions of usage of textile material in sewed articles. 3 dwg, 1 tbl
