SUBSTANCE: proposed method is characterized in that geometric location of image points is found in last frame using brightness-contract characteristics, coordinate of uppermost light point is used to determine coordinate of upper light point of moving object boundary, then coordinates of left- and right-hand coordinates of moving-object area boundaries are determined by counting total of white points in intermediate black-and-white image with similar coordinates along horizontal line either side of mentioned upper point.
