FIELD: semi-continuous polymerization of monomers with the use of chain growth initiator. SUBSTANCE: plant proposed for realization of said method includes reactor whose axis passes practically vertically and its lower portion is made in form of truncated cone; reactor is also provided with upper spraying part and intermediate part, inlet holes for monomer and initiator and at least one outlet hole, recirculating pipe line whose one end is communicated with outlet pipe line and other end is communicated with upper part by means of at least one sprayer and agitator. Proposed method includes loading the plant, mixing and recirculating the mixture. Proposed plant may be used for reactions with the use of chain growth initiator and catalyst of any type, solids, liquids or suspensions. Plant may be used in situations where impairment of catalyst may occur in transfer of it situations where product possesses too high viscosity at which further handling is impossible.
