FIELD: processes and equipment for disintegrating materials of natural shelf. SUBSTANCE: ball mill includes drum mounted with possibility of rotation and having mutually opposite branch pipes. One branch pipe is designed for charging material and engaging with conduit for disintegrated material. Another branch pipe is shifted relative to main vertical axis of ball mill. At each end of mill helical guiding receiving ribs are arranged in such a way that they are oriented in different sides one relative to another. One end of mill is engaged by means of gearing with drive unit. Receiving and discharging branch pipes are provided with plates having lock joints. Zones of bearing surfaces of journals are provided with threaded members for temperature meters. Cooling water is supplied to body of each bearing assembly and it is drained out of it. Hatches are mounted along drum. Wavy plates with X-shaped end faces are arranged on inner surface of drum. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of disintegration. 12 dwg
