SUBSTANCE: ball mill drum includes body with circular projection on its surface, gear wheel with inclined teeth and supports for body made in form of trunnions with cylindrical bands; each trunnion is protected by lining plates with fins and is rigidly connected with body; drum is provided with armored segment plates provided with X-shaped lock projections at their butts; upper and inner layers of armored plates and trunnions are made at spaced relation to inner surface of drum where heat- and noise-insulating partitions are mounted.
