FIELD: grinding equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining optimal volume of material movable in waterfall or cascade path and milled per unit of time; protecting drum internal surface, closure end and drum radial surface with rubber layer and providing part of discharge nozzle with radial ribs; uniformly moving toothed gear axially of drum while correlating this movement on model of working pattern of mill; providing forced feeding of lubricant to bearing supports; providing non-rubberized end closure with additional double-wall construction; furnishing feeding hopper for branch pipe with slide mounted at friability angle of small-sized dust-like material; furnishing mill with hydraulic supports and static supporting bases and arranging them below zero mark of concrete pit. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved operating characteristics of mill. 2 dwg
