FIELD: systems for tracking of air targets of various designation, in particular, air-target tracking systems in the scanning mode. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in the fact that on the basis of the estimated space co-ordinates of targets and their technical parameters the parameters of the targets and their derivatives characterizing the danger of the tracked targets and the favorable conditions for the attack on them are determined. Before the beginning of ranging all the tracked targets are divided into three groups: "O-dangerous", "B-advantageous for destruction", "HO - not dangerous", and then the degrees of danger of the targets, degrees of the advantage of the attack of them and the degrees of danger of not dangerous targets are computer in each group according to various quadratic-liner functionals. The ranged lists of the number of the targets of these three groups with the respective indices "O", "B" and "HO" are brought to the pilot's display thus providing a clear presentation on the degree of danger of the targets and the degree of the advantage of the attack of them. EFFECT: reduced limitations of the parameters of danger of the target and advantage of the attack of them used at ranging of targets, as well as enhanced reliability of their ranging. 1 dwg
