FIELD: mechanical engineering; exhaust systems of low power internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed casing-carrier is provided with number of through channels passing inside and is designed for mounting inside exhaust manifold. Casing-carrier has holder with hole with fitted-in said casing-carrier. This hole encloses of side surface of casing-carrier. Holder is secured directly on casing- carrier preserving shape of the latter and making it suitable for transportation. Holder can be connected with housing of exhaust manifold forming intake and exhaust chambers for hermetically separating the chambers from each other. Owing to provision of holder, tubular housing for enclosing casing-carrier is not required. EFFECT: facilitated building-in of casing-catalyst converter carrier. 14 cl, 3 dwg
