SUBSTANCE: honeycomb-structure member 2 is surrounded with flat portion 8,9 of metallic sheet passing axially along part of length of member 2. Edges of metallic sheets of member 2 abut from inside at least to one flat portion. Metallic sheet is a part of member 2 and it is arranged in axial zone between member 2 and tubular casing 1. In that axial zone non-desirable soldering of honeycomb-structure member 2 to tubular casing is eliminated independently upon soldering method. EFFECT: improved design. 5 cl, 7 dwg
