FIELD: catalyst carriers for neutralization of waste gases. SUBSTANCE: metal carrier body 1 used for neutralization of waste gases of internal combustion engines has longitudinal axis 10 and many ways (6, 7) of motion of fluid medium inside it; it is bounded by inlet surface 5 for admitting fluid medium to inner zone 3. According to invention, fluid medium flow motion ways 6,7 are so made that flow of waste gas 2 in carrier body 1 changes its direction obtaining at least one component oriented perpendicularly relative to longitudinal axis 10 of carrier body and at least one part 6 of waste gas flow 2 escapes after second change of direction through outlet surface 4 for escape of fluid medium having at least one component oriented in way of longitudinal axis 10 of carrier body. Provision is made for fitting the carrier to various low-power internal combustion engines. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 19 cl, 6 dwg
