BEARING CASING Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: equipment used in mills for milling natural shelf materials. SUBSTANCE: casing of bearing is in the form of support with inner cavity; it has flat ends with cylindrical and conical openings inclined one relative to another by obtuse angle. Ends are rigidly joined with ribs crossing said openings. Vertically arranged ends restrict curvilinear cavities that are mutually communicated through groove. Threaded openings and asymmetrically arranged openings are formed relative to cross sections of said cavities. Surface containing mutually crossing grooves is poured with babbitt. Negative slope of walls of said grooves provides additional holding of babbitt layer. Along limit contours babbitt layer has triangular faces. EFFECT: enhanced manufacturing possibilities. 1 cl, 4 dwg
