FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: housing of proposed steering gear is installed for turning around axis of rotation. Rotatable ring installed concentrically relative to axis of rotation of housing is coupled with steering wheel shaft by mechanical drive. Housing is arranged inside ring. Outer surface of housing is made cylindrical, with two symmetrical curvilinear sections forming a cavity. Spool of control mechanism of displacement servo is spring-loaded relative to outer surface of housing. Control mechanism is coupled with servo-by flexible pipelines. Servo is connected, in its turn, with steerable wheels by system of levers and tie-rods. Sensor detecting deflection of direction of movement front preset direction is made in form of receiver of satellite navigation system proportionally converting deflection front direction of wheeled vehicle movement into electric signal. Deflection sensor is connected through control unit, to control electric motor connected with housing by mechanical drive. EFFECT: improved accuracy of vehicle control and enlarged operating capabilities of device by providing possibility of movement over arbitrary trajectory. 1 dwg
