SUBSTANCE: main gas used in counter is helium held at pressure of 150 to 760 mm of mercury and its quenching additive is mixture of xenon and oxygen, pressure of each of these additives making up 1-5% of helium pressure and xenon-to-oxygen partial-pressure ratio ranging between 0.75 and 1.
