FIELD: methods and chambers for regeneration of movable bed of reforming catalyst or production of aromatic hydrocarbons. SUBSTANCE: catalyst has carrier at least one noble metal, and at least one halogen. Method includes stage of combustion with catalyst treatment in at least two successive combustion zones, where each combustion zone is isolated from adjacent combustion zones so as to provided for passage of catalyst and to prevent passage of gas for which purpose introduced into each zone is at least one gas containing oxygen, and produced gases are pumped out of each zone. Working conditions in each zone are made more stringent as catalyst is advanced. Chamber for regeneration of moving bed of reforming catalyst or production of aromatic hydrocarbons is also described. Preferably, combustion stage is ended in control zone of final combustion, distinguished by insignificant and even zero consumption of oxygen.
