FIELD: methods and reactors for production of synthesis-gas. SUBSTANCE: synthesis-gas is produced inside one reactor of fuel partial combustion in chamber of noncatalytic combustion with fuel introduced separately from oxidizer to chamber. Gases coming out of combustion chamber are supplied to catalytic layer located above combustion chamber. Additional oxidizer is introduced at the level of catalytic layer, and additional fuel at the level of catalytic layer and above the additional oxidizer of fuel relative to spreading of gases in reactor. Contained in reactor one body is chamber of noncatalytic combustion which has at least device for injection of fuel and at least device for injection of fuel oxidizer for realization of partial combustion. It also has at least catalytic layer, at least device for injection of fuel additional oxidizer and at least device for injection of additional fuel which are comprised in catalytic layer. Device for injection of additional fuel is located above the device for introduction of additional fuel oxidizer relative to direction of gas spreading in reactor. Volume of combustion chamber is such that V > 0.4 D/P, where V is internal volume of combustion chamber, cu.m; D is total consumption weight coming to chamber, kg/s; P is pressure prevailing inside chamber, MPa.
