FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to inductors of heating gears using high-frequency current which are intended to heat flat surfaces, such as face surface of units enduring heat. The invention involves decreasing of leakage field and attenuation of field intensity in internal turns of spiral owing to redistribution of magnetic field and decrease of concentration of eddy currents in central turns of coil as well as to more uniform distribution of working current across section of inductor winding. Proposed inductor heating flat parts comes in the form of single-layer Archimedean spiral produced from current-conducting material put on electro-and-heat insulated base and connected to AC high-frequency source and magnetic flux concentrator. Magnetic flux concentrator is manufactured in the form of intermediate spiral of material containing ferromagnetic which turns are placed between turns of main spiral on inducing conductor. EFFECT: small mass and dimensions, convenience and safety of operation securing uniform heating of surfaces. 5 dwg
