MAGNETIC GRID MUD BOX Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2193529 C2

FIELD: magnetic cleaning. SUBSTANCE: device is intended for eliminating polluting solids in the form of sludge and suspended particles from water-dispersion media transported over pipelines. Magnetic grid mud boxes are used in heat networks, heat points, boiler-houses, heat-and-power stations. Magnets attracting sludge from the water are mounted inside horizontal nonmagnetic pipes passing through casing. After removal of magnets from these pipes, attached to pipes sludge peels off onto bottom of mud box. Proposed construction does not contain upper cover and structures of bottom and drain filter are simplified. EFFECT: facilitated cleaning mud box. 2 dwg
