FIELD: purification of liquids from suspended matter and colloid compounds by inertial-gravity sedimentation with use of magnetic action on precipitated impurities. SUBSTANCE: clarifier has sedimentation chamber with partitions, permanent magnets in the form of vertically alternating rows of opposite polarities located on surface of partition from ferromagnetic material installed ahead of discharge branch pipe. Installed in chamber is additional magnetic system for its withdrawal beyond body without removal of cover and seal disturbances. Bulky and multilayer screen filter element is located on discharge branch pipe. EFFECT: improved filtration and coagulation of colloid impurities. 5 cl, 6 dwg
