FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: solid oil sludge is first converted into plastic state, after which heated in a single or in several steps from ambient temperature to 700 C at velocity 1.25-20.0 C/min, simultaneously isolating corresponding fractions. The latter as well as the rest of sludge are modified during any heating period to produce various products.
