FIELD: fire-fighting equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing 1 with cover 2 and bottom 3 provided with openings 4. Piston 5 with hollow rod 6 is located inside casing 1. Explosive charge 7 is placed in piston 5. Cavity 10 of rod 6 is communicated with cavity 11 under piston 5 through openings 12. End of rod 6 and openings 4 are covered with film 13. To actuate apparatus, cavities 10 and 11 are filled with liquid. Ignition of explosive charge 7 causes release of gasses urging piston 5 to move downward for creating in cavity 11 of increased pressure, which is transmitted through openings 12 into cavity 10. As a result, film 13 for closing opening 4 and end of rod 6 is ruptured and liquid is delivered from cavity 11 through openings 4 into burning zone in dispersion mode and is further replaced through openings 12 into cavity 10, from which it is supplied in the form of spray.
