FIELD: fire fighting equipment. SUBSTANCE: unit has liquid reservoir, compressed gas source, working chamber with float-type valve, feeding tube, liquid and compressed gas supplying channels. Ejector mounted in working chamber closure is equipped with through holes arranged at angle to ejector axis. Working chamber is further equipped with crank pipe, whose horizontal part is connected to tube and vertical part is introduced into working chamber. When liquid is supplied into working chamber and compressed gas is supplied into ejector, float is raised without contacting with valve with following pushing thereof in upward direction. As a result, valve plate is caught up by compressed gas streams discharged from opening to close it. Compressed gas flows into working chamber to force out liquid through crank pipe into tube. Float is lowered to apply gravitational force to float-type valve and move it to initial position. Pulsed unit may be used in forest fire suppressing apparatuses. EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency by supplying liquid in abrupt pulses delivered in automatic mode. 1 dwg
