FIELD: aircraft filter elements and filter stacks for flying vehicle liquid systems. SUBSTANCE: plant includes bath with piezoelectric transducers for excitation of ultrasonic oscillations in washing fluid which are connected to generator outputs (or generator output); said plant is mounted on board as standard on- board equipment or part of set of spare equipment which may be operated on board and on ground. Used as supply source for generators (or generator) are on-board or ground AC or DC sources. Method of cleaning filter elements with the aid of said plant consists in placing the filter elements and filter stacks into bath filled with washing fluid and exciting ultrasonic oscillations in this bath by means of piezoelectric transducers connected to generator outputs (or generator output). For conducting the cleaning procedure, standard equipment or spare on-board equipment, bath and generators (or generator) with piezoelectric transducers are placed on ground; bath is filled with washing fluid and generators are supplied from on-board or ground AC or DC sources.
