SUBSTANCE: device has sectional housing with bearing bed frame, side walls and unloading port for discharge of finished product and cover with hole for supply of iodine melt. Cooling unit is mounted inside housing and provided with disk-shaped hollow body and hollow shaft for supply of cooling fluid. Distributing disk mounted inside hollow disk-shaped body on studs in parallel relative to upper plane of disk-shaped body of cooling unit is mounted for rotation in port of bed frame in bearing unit. Mounted inside hollow shaft is unit for delivery and discharge of cooling fluid. Secured on inner surface of cover is at least one knife for scraping particles of crystalline iodine off upper plane of hollow disk-shaped body of cooling unit.
