SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel triaryl compounds of formulas (Ia) and (Ib) or their salts where in formula (Ia) W means N or C-CO-R where R means OH, OC₁-C₆-alkyl or NR₃R₄ where R₃ and R₄ mean H or C₁-C₆-alkyl; or in formula (Ib) Az means imidazopyridine and in both formulas (Ia) and (Ib) R₁ means C₁-C₄-alkyl; R₂ means phenyl fragment or 2,5-cyclohexadiene-3,4-ylidine-1-yl fragment. Compounds of formulas (Ia) and (Ib) show anti-inflammatory activity and can be used in medicine. Invention relates also to pharmaceutical composition, method of synthesis of novel compounds, method of treatment of inflammatory disease and intermediate substances.
