FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: method includes drilling of pilot hole with diameter smaller than that of pile, driving of pipe pile into permafrost ground by torque and axial force, filling of pilot hole with ground in the course of pipe pile lowering and its holding up to freezing with permafrost ground. Novelty consists in that pilot hole is drilled to depth and with diameter determined empirically. Drilling of pilot hole is carried out along axis located over circumference at a distance from design axis of pipe pile also determined empirically. Technical result consists in higher efficiency of installation of pipe pile in permafrost ground due to reduced power consumption in installation process with prevented jamming of pile during its sinking, reduced duration of time freezing with ground.
