FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method for erection of a bridge support pillar on permafrost soil consists in boring a well with a larger cross section compared to the cross section of the pillar, installation of the pillar into the well, filling a pocket between the well walls and the pillar with melted interstitial water and subsequent freezing of the pillar with the interstitial water and the surrounding soil. The novelty in the proposed method is the fact that it includes an operation of pillar heating with duration τ1, carried out upon installation of the pillar into the well, and the operation of pocket heating with duration τ2, carried out upon filling of the pocket with interstitial water. Besides, the method may include an operation of heated zone cooling for better freezing of the pillar side surface with interstitial solution and surrounding coil with duration τ3. Duration of operations τ1 τ2 and τ3 is determined according to the appropriate formulas.
EFFECT: reliable freezing of a pillar side surface with a surrounding soil massif.
