FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to devices measuring pressure force between contact wire and current collector of energized vehicle, in particular, of electrically powered rail traction vehicle. Proposed device includes two force cells positioned between base 7 of contact strap 6 and frame 5 of balance beam or between contact shoe 8 and base 7 of contact strap 6. Each cell incorporates deformed body 11 with fiber-optical reflection transducer 19 springy in axial direction but displaying high rigidity in lateral direction Axial deformations of deformed body 11 equivalent to pressure force are detected with the aid of reflection transducer 19 showing high resolution and are transmitted to unit 27 where they are converted to signals 28 or commands 29 equivalent to pressure force.
