SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designing and making of liquid forget composite pistons for internal combustion engines which are provided with reinforced head and different type antifriction and wear coatings. According to invention, geometric parameters of piston components are chosen to take into account geometric parameters and operating conditions of piston in engine with optimum accuracy.
