FIELD: in-flight dropping of articles. SUBSTANCE: device has parachute, suspension system and unit for transportation of cargo provided with bottom and open end face. Suspension system consists of two groups of straps and strand. Flexible member is laid and secured above bottom cargo packaging unit by means of first group of straps connected by means of locks which are separated at preset altitude. One end of flexible member may be located above other end of flexible member after disconnection of first group of straps. Unit for transportation of cargo is connected with parachute and flexible member may be laid above open end face of unit in developing the parachute. Version is also provided for device with additional parachute whose cover is secured to cargo transportation unit; end of flexible member is connected with additional cargo. Flexible members and additional parachute are made from current-conducting material. EFFECT: reduced electrical activity of thunderstorm clouds. 5 cl, 8 dwg
