FIELD: meteorology. SUBSTANCE: reactant carrier is made in the form of flexible hollow member making casing and charge of explosive substance located axially of casing inside it. Space between casing wall and charge is filled with reactant. Actuating device is positioned at one end of flexible casing and is driven by timer or signal delivered by barometric sensor. Apparatus for lowering flexible casing has parachute, loading platform and suspension system composed of two groups of strips and string through which one end of flexible casing is joined to parachute. Flexible casing is attached to loading platform. After opening of parachute, loading platform is arranged in vertical plane. When loading platform is lowered to predetermined altitude, barometric lock is actuated to disconnect strips from string. Pins are further withdrawn by means of additional strips and first group of strips is unpacked, with following detachment of loading platform from flexible casing. Carrier of such construction allows load made in the form of flexible casing opened in vertical plane to be delivered to predetermined cloudy zone for providing effective action upon atmospheric processes. EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation and reduced consumption of reactant. 4 cl, 7 dwg
