FIELD: devices for estimation of grain quality. SUBSTANCE: percent concentration of grain specimens of cereal or another agricultural product are determined by means of analyzer using short-length waves in near- infra-red region during harvesting or processing said products. Analyzer irradiates specimen, receives diffuse reflection from specimen at individual lengths of waves and spatially divides diffuse reflection in response to individual lengths of waves. Intensity of radiation reflected from one and same section of product under test is detected simultaneously and in parallel at individual lengths of waves. Then, percent content of components are compared with known percent content for determination of components. Optics of analyzer is stabilized due to which analyzer may be secured to agricultural harvester for measurement in real time. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 22 cl, 4 dwg
