FIELD: radio navigation, location of mobile objects. SUBSTANCE: method fixing positions of mobile object consists in location of base stations with identification number given to each base station in conventional cells presenting equal regular hexagons densely covering serviced territory. Radii of coverage of base stations are assumed to be equal to length of side of each regular hexagon. Call radio signals are emitted on assigned working frequency from positioned mobile object which is one of mobile objects located within limits of serviced territory. Said call radio signals are received at base stations in which coverage positioned object is located. Information signals containing identification numbers of said base stations are sent from these base stations. Location of positioned mobile object is fixed by these information signals. Base stations are placed in vertexes of said hexagons. Information signals carrying identification numbers of base stations in which coverage positioned mobile object is located are corresponding information radio signals. Information radio signals from mentioned base stations are transmitted to mobile objects located within limits of serviced territory. Six various working frequencies of radio signals emitted by all base stations are assigned. Out of six working frequencies each base station located in vertex of regular hexagon is assigned with one working frequency of radio signals emitted from this base station which differs from working frequencies of radio signals emitted by neighboring base stations which are base stations located in adjacent vertexes of these regular hexagons. Out of six working frequencies each mobile object is assigned with five working frequencies of information radio signals received at this mobile object, at each base station and at mobile objects located within limits of serviced territory. In addition coordinates of location of all base stations as well as identification numbers corresponding to them and radii of coverage of all base stations are given. Transmission of information radio signals from base stations in which coverage positioned mobile object is located to mobile objects located within limits of serviced territory is carried out as follows: first one base station sends information radio signals on assigned working frequency, these radio signals are received at base stations which are adjacent relative to mentioned base station and emitted on corresponding working frequencies. Then all base stations which are adjacent to above-mentioned base stations receive information radio signals from mentioned base stations and send them on proper assigned working frequencies. Later information radio signals are received at all other subsequent base stations which are adjacent relative to previous base stations and sent in same manner, in sequence, along all directions from mentioned base station in which coverage positioned mobile object is located to boundaries of serviced territory. After this information radio signals are transmitted from all other base stations in which coverage positioned mobile object to mobile objects located within limits of serviced territory in the same manner, in turn. In this case information radio signals are emitted on assigned working frequency from all base stations except base station which identification number is included in transmitted information radio signals while this base station receives information radio signals on one working frequency assigned for this base station. Mobile objects located within limits of serviced territory receive information radio signals on assigned working frequencies from each base station in which coverage positioned mobile object is located. Location of positioned mobile object is fixed by mobile objects located within limits of serviced territory and by base stations by identification numbers of base stations in which coverage positioned mobile object is located as well as by position coordinates and radii of coverage of these base stations in addition. Power of information radio signals received from adjacent base stations is measured at each base station. Then each base station sends service radio signals containing information on measured values of power. Mentioned service radio signals are received at each adjacent base station and power of emitted information radio signals is adjusted by measured values of power of information radio signals received by base stations which are adjacent relative to mentioned adjacent base station and emitted by this base station. EFFECT: increased precision of fixing positions of mobile objects, expanded capabilities of method thanks to rational location of base stations on serviced territory. 7 dwg
