METHOD FOR COMPLEX MYOCARDIAL REVASCULARIZATION AT LESIONS OF DISTAL CORONARY ROUTE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, cardiosurgery. SUBSTANCE: method deals with treating myocardial ischemia in case of pronounced atherosclerotic lesion of distal coronary route. One should carry out a coronary endarterectomy. A light guide is introduced into the lumen of coronary artery. Coronary-myocardial and coronary-ventricular channels are formed along a posterior wall of coronary artery. Channels are alternated between each other. To form these channels one should use impulse UV laser of 180-400 nm spectrum, the frequency being of not less than 5 Hz. Moreover, the total calculated diameter of channels should correspond to about one third of a shunt's diameter. Anastomosis is formed between a shunt and coronary artery. The method enables to conduct prophylaxis of earlier thrombosis of aortocoronary shunts. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 5 dwg
