SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to high- temperature chemical detoxification of combustible industrial wastes containing polyaromatic hydrocarbons and can be used for neutralizing by-product-coking and fuel industry wastes. Method includes burning of waste in tuyere zone of blast furnace, polyaromatic hydrocarbons-containing waste being introduced in liquid form into high-velocity (200-350 m/s) stream of additional fuel blown into blast furnace tuyere in amounts 0.05-0.1 kg of conditional fuel per 1 cu.m blast-furnace air.
